Jan is the founder and CEO of sustainable AG.

Studied business administration with a focus on management and controlling at the HTWG Konstanz and at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Canada. He has also completed a professional training in wholesale and foreign trade.

Stefan has more than 15 years of experience in operational and strategic business development. He has worked in various functions and divisions in both international corporate structures and in the private equity environment. The focus of his work was on the development and transformation of organizational units and companies with a focus on marketing and sales, operations, innovation management and corporate transformation. Most recently, he worked as a management consultant, particularly in the fields of strategy consulting, organizational development and international cooperation.

Stefan is Executive Director Operations and, as a member of the Executive Board, is responsible for the strategic and operational development of Sustainable. 

Stefan has been with Sustainable since 2024.

Studied M.Sc. in Georesource Management and Economics at RWTH Aachen University.

Laura has 10+ years of experience in advising and supporting companies on all aspects of sustainability. In various roles, she has supported companies of different sizes and industries as well as corporate consortia in strategy development and implementation, particularly on the topics of climate protection, circular economy and sustainability communication.

Before joining Sustainable as a Director, Laura worked for many years as a strategy consultant at Accenture, was Managing Director of a software provider for supply chain transparency solutions, headed the Sustainability Competence Center at GS1 Germany, and worked at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy.

Laura has been with Sustainable since 2024.

Studied business administration at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg and Tongji University in Shanghai. Completed training as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant at Conrad Electronic.

Markus has been advising companies on energy, climate and sustainability issues for over 10 years. From 2007 to 2013, Markus was project manager for the development of national and international climate protection projects based on the Gold Standard, VCS, CDM or JI. Since 2010, Markus has also been carrying out assessments of climate protection projects for investors, plus the quality standards CCBS, Social Carbon and Plan Vivo. Since 2011, support for industrial companies covered by the EU Emissions Trading Scheme has been part of the scope of advice on compliance strategies, allocation applications, emissions reporting and capacity expansions.

With regard to sustainability, his focus is on advising companies on the development of 2-degree compatible climate strategies for greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with GHG Protocol Scope 1-3, calculation and assessment of carbon footprints, Advising companies and investors on sustainable finance through climate impact assessment, industrial companies in EU emissions trading, CDP consulting (climate change, supply chain and water), advising companies on the introduction of data management, implementation of CSR reporting obligations and the development of control instruments for climate management. The development of climate protection projects and the sourcing of CO₂ certificates for the climate neutrality of companies as well as the preparation of analyses of the market for the voluntary compensation of GHG emissions complete his consulting profile.

Project management comprises project planning, control and management and includes communication with customers as a key account. Markus uses specific methods and management knowledge for project implementation in accordance with customer requirements.

Markus has been working at Sustainable since 2013.

Caro initially studied Business Administration in her Bachelor's degree and Statistics in her Master's degree at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. During her subsequent career start as a data scientist at mayato GmbH, she focused on setting up and developing real best practices. She worked with clients such as Miele, Deutsche Bahn, VW and various medium-sized companies.

Caro has been working in consulting for 10 years and in the field of digitalization with a focus on data and AI for 12 years. Most recently, she was Managing Director of the Positive Thinking Company as a management consultant in C-level consulting.

She works across all industries and sees digitalization as a universally applicable tool. In doing so, she always ensures a good translation between strategy and specific work packages on the one hand and between business problem and tech solution on the other. It is important to her that digitalization always means collaboration - to create a culture in which everyone is happy to contribute and get involved

Her focus at sustainable is on combining the twin transformations of sustainability and digitalization. She sees digitalization as a tool for increasing sustainability.

Caroline Kleist has been at sustainable since February 2024.

Studied B.Sc. Technology Management at the Technical University of Munich and M. Sc. Economics at the NOVA School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, Portugal.

Christian leads the climate management and climate strategy team at sustainable. His core topics include the development and implementation of climate strategies according to the standards of the Science-Based Targets initiative as well as the recording, balancing and monitoring of emissions in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. Christian also supports clients in identifying suitable emission reduction measures and defining KPIs and governance structures to ensure that targets are achieved. His work also includes designing and conducting workshops and training courses for managers as well as coaching CR departments on greenhouse gas accounting, climate strategies and climate management. He manages projects in these areas, acts as an expert and is available to clients as a key account manager. His clients come from industry, trade and the technology and textile sectors, among others. He has several years of professional experience in project and quality management as well as in technical process development and has also been involved in EcoDesign development processes.

Christian Kubis has been with Sustainable since 2019.

Studied communications at the Bavarian Academy for Advertising and Marketing. 20 years of professional experience in marketing and communication in corporations, SMEs and agencies in the healthcare and software sector with a focus on team building and digitalization of marketing.

The focus at sustainable is on the further expansion and development of marketing and sales structures.

Sandra has been with Sustainable since 2024.

Studied at the Management Center Innsbruck with a focus on environmental process engineering and biotechnology. He also completed vocational training as a technical assistant in food analysis and is a state-certified biotechnician.

Since 2003, Felix has been advising industrial companies, project developers and investors on CO₂ markets and climate strategies. Using his many years of practical experience supporting plant operators within the European Emissions Trading System, he develops strategies for dealing with CO₂ costs in collaboration with clients. He has supported numerous climate protection projects in obtaining certification according to international standards (CDM, JI, Gold Standard) and has developed new methods for them. Felix develops climate strategies based on the greenhouse gas balances of companies and products, and advises clients on the opportunities and risks of carbon markets. He held a management position at a leading consulting firm, expanding the international project business and establishing a branch office in Turkey. He currently oversees climate strategy projects and business development related to climate change solutions in agriculture and natural carbon sinks.

He has been with Sustainable since 2023.

PhD in Forest Economics at the Chair of Forest Business Administration at the Technical University of Munich. Dissertation on end customers' willingness to pay for (forest) climate protection projects using conjoint analysis.

Studied economics (specializing in corporate management and production) and forestry (forest planning and management) at the Georg-August University of Göttingen with stays abroad in New Zealand, Canada and Norway.

Multi-year professional experience as (senior) project manager, (IT) consultant and division manager of a tourism company. Active as a freelance consultant for climate protection since 2011.

In addition to agile project management, Endrik's focus at sustainable is on process-related support in the development and implementation of climate strategies and consulting on the implementation of corporate carbon footprints.

Endrik has been with Sustainable since 2021.

Studied M. Sc. in Business Administration with a focus on innovation and strategy at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla in Mexico.

He gained practical experience as a project developer in the field of recycling and waste management at an NGO in Peru and during his studies at Siemens Management Consulting, Deloitte and the Institute for Strategy, Technology and Organization at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität.

Timo has been with Sustainable since 2018.

Studied mechanical engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) with a focus on energy and environmental technology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Karlsruhe with a semester at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia in Valencia, Spain. Subsequent doctorate on the ecological and economic evaluation of the charging control of electric vehicles at the Technical University of Munich.

Multi-year professional experience as project manager, research assistant and consultant in numerous research and consulting projects with clients from the energy industry context at the Research Center for Energy Economics (FfE) in Munich. Focus on the creation and evaluation of energy industry climate protection scenarios, CO₂ avoidance measures, analysis of electricity and system service markets, the ETS and electromobility.

The focus at sustainable is on supporting the development and implementation of climate strategy and management approaches. This includes the collection, balancing and monitoring of greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1, 2 and 3) and advice on the development of climate targets and their implementation paths (top-down target development, bottom-up potential analysis, scenario modeling).

Steffen has been with Sustainable since 2022.

Studied work and organizational psychology at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg Further education in environmental management at the University of Hagen.

Many years of experience in various consultancies and in-house in the field of change management (implementation of strategic transformation projects - in addition to sustainability transformations, also reorganizations, post-merger integrations, process and IT implementations in various industries).

As Program Director for Corporate Relations at GoodPlanet in Belgium, her responsibilities included the design and implementation of awareness-raising and engagement formats for managers and employees on sustainability issues.

Worked for two years at the United Nations (UNDP, UNHCR) in the areas of organizational and human resources development.

Her focus at Sustainable is on sustainable change - supporting the implementation of sustainability transformation processes and the implementation of sustainability strategies.

Kristina has been with Sustainable since 2022.

Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Technical Environmental Protection at the Technical University of Berlin with a stay abroad in the UK, as well as a Master's in Business Administration at IU International University.

Most recently head of the Climate & Environment team in the Corporate Sustainability department of an international corporation and head of a department for the development of business models in the context of corporate decarbonization. Thematic focus is on ESG data management, climate management and strategy, (product-related) environmental management, as well as corporate decarbonization approaches including compensation and neutralization. 

Hendrik has been with Sustainable since 2024.

Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Management at OTH Regensburg, with stays abroad in Arequipa (Peru), an internship at the German Embassy in Washington D.C. and at the AHK in Vienna. He then completed a Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Sustainable Resource Management at the Technical University of Munich, specializing in environmental management and sustainable agriculture.

In addition, Julia gained practical experience in corporate strategy - sustainability at Audi AG and in corporate and financial communications at ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG.

The focus at Sustainable is on supporting the development and implementation of climate strategies as well as advising on the implementation of carbon and product footprint (CCF & PCF) calculations.

Julia has been with Sustainable since 2019.

David holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University, USA and an M.Sc. in Climate Change and Sustainable Development from De Montfort University, UK, with a focus on energy efficiency and carbon management.

David has many years of professional experience as a sustainability manager for private companies and universities in the US and the UK. He has also worked as a freelance sustainability consultant, advising companies on sustainability strategies, including carbon reduction targets and climate risk assessment. Prior to joining Sustainable, David worked as part of a consultancy team where he was responsible for the development and implementation of climate risk and opportunity assessment services for companies in the UK, Switzerland and Germany.

David's focus at Sustainable is on advising clients on climate-related reporting and disclosure strategies, conducting comprehensive climate-related risk and opportunity assessments and providing expert advice on integrating climate risk considerations into clients' risk management frameworks.

David has been with Sustainable since 2023.

Studied B.A. Applied Communication and Media Studies at the University of Duisburg-Essen and M.A. Multimedia Communication at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media and San Jose State University, USA.

Many years of experience (since 2007) in the development and implementation of impact assessments as well as in advising companies on the definition of sustainability strategies and the preparation of sustainability reports. She is also involved in the design and implementation of digital tools for greenhouse gas balances and true cost assessments.

Anne's focus at sustainable is on supporting companies with agricultural supply chains through the cycle of sustainability strategy, implementation, impact measurement and (internal/external) communication.

Anne previously worked at Soil & More Impacts and has been supporting Sustainable with her expertise since 2022.

Studies in Sustainable Management (M.Sc.) at the University of Ulm and Philosophy & Economics (B.A.) with a focus on business ethics at the University of Bayreuth and the Université de Liège. Master's thesis on "Moral Displacement in Organizations".

Mirjam has 5 years of experience in forensics and compliance consulting at a global audit firm. Her predominant work has mainly involved projects in the areas of ESG compliance, governance & integrity and risk management. She is also a fraud examiner with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners with experience in fraud prevention and fraud risk.

In addition to the development of sustainability strategies, her focus at Sustainable is on the effective integration of sustainability into governance structures in the area of ESG risk management and compliance along the entire value chain.

Mirjam Bauer has been with Sustainable since 2024.

Environmental Engineering (B.Sc.) at RWTH Aachen, as well as Sustainable Resource Management (M.Sc.) at the Technical University of Munich with a focus on Renewable Energy and Sustainable Agriculture and a stay abroad in Norway at the NMBU. 

Jana gained practical experience as a working student at Stadtwerke München(SWM) in the field of decentralized energy solutions.

Her focus at Sustainable is the support in the development and implementation of climate strategies as well as the support in customer consulting for industrial companies covered by EU emissions trading.

Jana has been with Sustainable since 2021.

Daniela completed her doctorate in Climate Smart Agriculture at the University of Bonn and Forschungszentrum Jülich. Her research covered sustainable development strategies in Ethiopia, which included basic sanitation, waste management, food security, climate change adaptation and mitigation, and carbon sequestration in agricultural soils. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the University of Costa Rica and her Master's degree in Environmental Protection and Agricultural Food Production at the University of Hohenheim, Germany.

After her academic education, Daniela gained extensive experience as a sustainability analyst and consultant at ClimatePartner. There she specialized in greenhouse gas accounting and mitigation measures for the food and agriculture sector, following the GHG Protocol for land and non-land sector activities. She has played an active role in research and development, particularly in the calculation of greenhouse gas emissions at farm level using primary data for agricultural products. Daniela has been active in disseminating knowledge on land use change, emissions from land management and sustainable agricultural practices through internal trainings and external webinars.

Their focus at sustainable is on providing accurate and effective decarbonization strategies for clients engaged in land-based activities. This is done through the development and implementation of climate strategies, reduction scenarios and regenerative agriculture projects as part of SBTi FLAG and GHG Protocol Land Sector and Removals Guidance.

Daniela has been with Sustainable since 2023.

Studied Ecotrophology (B.Sc.) at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and California State University Long Beach. Master's degree in Sustainability Sciences (M.Sc.) at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg.

Tanja has experience in the support and implementation of carbon footprints at company or product level as well as in true cost accounting projects since 2019. The focus is on the accounting of food processing companies as well as the collection and evaluation of primary data from agricultural companies. She also supports the development and implementation of climate strategies by developing and analyzing emission reduction pathways for the food value chain together with the companies. Before joining Soil & More Impacts, Tanja gained practical experience in the food industry, mainly in product development.

Tanja previously worked at Soil & More Impacts and has been supporting Sustainable with her expertise since April 2022.

Bachelor's degree in International Energy Management (B.Sc.) with a stay abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico and studies focusing on renewable energies. European Master in Groningen, Netherlands and Kortrijk, Belgium in Sustainable Energy System Management.

Practical experience as a consultant for IT projects in the energy industry and as a sustainability manager in an electrical wholesaler. There she built up the sustainability management and was able to gain experience in the technical implementation of projects and internal and external communication.

Her focus at Sustainable is the development and implementation of climate and sustainability strategies and the calculation of CCFs and PCFs.

Saskia has been with Sustainable since 2023.

Martin has a degree in technical environmental protection engineering from the Technical University of Berlin and has worked on many different sustainability topics during and after his studies.

One of his main focuses is the linking of economic and ecological indicators, e.g. in the calculation of the "true costs" of agricultural products (true cost accounting). In the past, Martin spent five years working intensively in a nature conservation organization on the topics of biodiversity, land competition, deforestation, climate change, microplastics and water scarcity.

Methodologically, Martin works with ecological sustainability assessments such as the life cycle assessment (LCA), the water footprint, the greenhouse gas balance or the natural capital assessment. He also deals with sustainability methods that go beyond the environmental area, such as social and economic sustainability assessments (LCC, SLCA, LCSA).

Martin has been with Sustainable AG since 2022.

Studied B.Sc. Environmental Science at the Open University, UK, and M.Sc. Land Reclamation and Restoration at Cranfield University, UK.

Eric has supported companies at Soil & More Impacts since 2019 in greenhouse gas accounting and the development of emission reduction and carbon sequestration scenarios, particularly in relation to agricultural value chains. From 2020 until the merger with sustainable AG, he coordinated the area of greenhouse gas accounting and insetting.

As a senior consultant at sustainable, he supports companies in balancing their corporate and product emissions and in setting SBTi targets. His focus is on the calculation of supplier-specific emission factors by collecting and evaluating primary data from agricultural and processing companies.

In addition, he holds workshops on the potential of carbon farming and the requirements and opportunities that arise for companies with agricultural value chains through standards such as SBTi FLAG and the GHG Protocol Land Sector and Removals Guidance.

Eric Kowalewski has been with Sustainable since 2022.

PhD in soil science/geography at the University of Kiel. Dissertation on the recording of soil changes and damage in the BDF soil monitoring network in Schleswig-Holstein. Studied geography with a focus on soil science and forest ecology at the Technical University of Dresden.

Multi-year professional experience as a project manager and R&D manager in the fields of nature-based solutions, soil carbon, soil fertility, climate resilience, regenerative agriculture and agroforestry.

Rainer leads the development of customized products, models and projects based on current scientific principles. His focus is on carbon storage in soil and biomass and how it can be captured in climate protection projects. Rainer uses his practical experience with farmers and local organizations to implement such projects in a long-term and feasible manner.

Another area of work is the planning and implementation of international on-site sampling campaigns as part of MRV or soil fertility assessments, often combined with on-site training for sustainable agriculture measures.

Rainer has been with Sustainable since 2014.

Felix held a management position in a leading consulting firm where he expanded the international project business, including the establishment of a branch office in Turkey. Felix oversees climate strategy projects and business development related to climate change solutions in agriculture and natural carbon sinks.

Felix has been with Sustainable since 2023.

Alexander has many years of professional experience in several management consultancies, including international ones. After studying law at the University of Vienna, he specialized in advising companies in the areas of environmental law, energy law and employee protection law. Alexander's work also included the communication of environmental statements in the context of new regulatory requirements as well as issues relating to sustainability regulation and assisting companies with the implementation of the EU Taxonomy Regulation.

The focus at Sustainable is on the implementation and management of compliance solutions, support with environmental communication and assisting companies with the implementation of the EU Taxonomy Regulation.

Alexander has been with Sustainable since 2025.

Studies in Sustainable Management (M.Sc.) at the University of Ulm and Philosophy & Economics (B.A.) with a focus on business ethics at the University of Bayreuth and the Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR). Master's thesis on "Development of a structured methodology for materiality analysis for the ZEISS Group".

Laura has over 3 years of experience in strategic project management for digital transformation of an NGO. She also gained practical experience in sustainability management of various companies in the private and public sector as well as in CR consulting.

Her focus at Sustainable is the development and implementation of sustainability and climate strategies. This includes carrying out materiality analyses, calculating greenhouse gas emissions and developing climate targets. She also supports companies with the implementation of the EU taxonomy.

Laura has been with Sustainable since 2022.

Studied Environmental Sciences and Business Psychology (B.Sc.) at Leuphana University in Lüneburg and Life Science Economics (M.Sc.) at the Technical University of Munich.

Kim worked for two years at the PR agency GlobalCom PR Network in the field of IT and renewable energies and was also an editor and writer for the non-profit online magazine CleanEnergy Project. She was then a working student at DFGE - Institute for Energy, Ecology and Economy in the area of climate strategy and an intern at PwC in the area of sustainability services.

Her focus at Sustainable is on supporting the development and implementation of climate strategies and advising on the implementation of corporate carbon footprints.

Kim has been with Sustainable since 2020.

Studied B.A. Leisure and Tourism Management at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences with a focus on Sustainable Tourism and Marketing, M.A. Sustainable Development Cooperation at TU Kaiserslautern with a focus on sustainability in economic processes. Semester abroad at the Montpellier Business School in France and the University of Nicosia, Cyprus.

Fiona has many years of professional experience in corporate sustainability management, most recently with a focus on the aviation industry. In her role as project manager, her core tasks included the development of sustainability and climate protection strategies, the (further) development of sustainability reporting and sustainability communication.

The focus at Sustainable is on the development and implementation of sustainability strategies along the entire value chain - with a focus on materiality analyses and reporting standards in accordance with the CSRD.

Fiona Starke has been supporting Sustainable since 2024

Studied environmental engineering at RWTH Aachen University with a focus on environmental process engineering in the Master's program. Semester abroad at the National University of Singapore. Internship and Master's thesis at the Research Center Jülich on synthetic fuels, internship at the United Nations Development Programme in Jakarta, Indonesia, on climate protection projects. More than 3 years of experience in strategy consulting with a focus on the chemical, process and energy industries.

Fiona's focus at Sustainable is the development and implementation of sustainability and climate strategies. This includes conducting materiality workshops, environmental and benchmark analyses, as well as balancing and monitoring emissions (Scope 1-3) in accordance with the GHG Protocol and defining targets, KPIs and measures to achieve them. She also supports companies in implementing the EU taxonomy and developing circular economy strategies.

Fiona has been with Sustainable since 2021.

Bachelor's degree in Economics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München with a semester abroad at the University of Sydney and a Master's degree in Economics at the Universtat Autonoma de Barcelona.

Verena has several years of professional experience at ClimatePartner GmbH. There she worked in customer consulting for the food industry and later in the Research and Development team. In client consulting, her focus was on creating carbon footprints and developing climate strategies. In the Research & Development team, she promoted the development of topics and know-how (e.g. development of GHG calculation models or the development of new standards) as well as knowledge transfer.

The focus at Sustainable is on agricultural solutions. Verena supports companies in GHG accounting and the collection and evaluation of primary data from agricultural businesses. She also supports the development and implementation of climate strategies and agricultural insetting projects.

Verena has been with Sustainable since 2023.

Master's degree (M. Sc.) in Sustainable Corporate Management at the University of Ulm with a semester abroad in Bologna, Italy. Focus during studies on life cycle assessments and sustainable consumption patterns. Prior to this, part-time Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Business Administration at the FHM in Bielefeld. After completing her master's degree, worked as a consultant for an environmental service provider with a focus on corporate and product carbon footprints.

Jan gained practical experience during his training as an industrial clerk and through various activities at Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG.

Anne has many years of professional experience in foreign trade and project management, also as manager of the branch office of a multinational company in Brazil, where she lived for 10 years. She gained further experience as a project manager responsible for CSR in a sustainable cosmetics company. Anne is also a TÜV-certified environmental manager and environmental auditor.

The focus at Sustainable is on the development and implementation of sustainability strategies along the entire value chain - with a focus on materiality analyses and reporting standards in accordance with the CSRD.

Anne Wolff has been with Sustainable since 2023.

Studied B.Sc. Environmental Sciences at the University of Freiburg i.Br., as well as M.Sc. Environmental Modeling at the University of Oldenburg and the Stockholm Resilience Centre (SRC) in Sweden.

Experience (since 2016) in life cycle assessment of mainly agricultural products and the (further) development of calculation tools within her practical work, among others in sustainability consulting at Rifcon GmbH and as a junior scientist at ifeu gGmbH.

Clara's focus at Sustainable is on GHG accounting at company and product level (CCF and PCF) in accordance with the GHG Protocol, as well as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Her focus is on the collection and evaluation of primary data from agricultural businesses. She also supports the development and implementation of climate strategies (especially SBTi) and agricultural insetting projects.

Clara previously worked at Soil & More Impacts and has been supporting Sustainable with her expertise since 2022.

Studied B.Sc. Mathematics at the TU Darmstadt with a focus on numerics and psychology as a minor subject and M.Sc. Mathematics at the TU Darmstadt with a focus on statistics.

He was also responsible for product management, the development and implementation of training formats and presentations as well as the exchange with network partners.

Daniela has several years of experience in management consulting and organizational development. As an innovation coach at etventure (EY) and subsequently at INCLUSIFY AG (ACP) her role was to strategically and operationally enable various organizations in the context of business transformation projects. Daniela led projects with a focus on new work and innovation topics (design thinking, agile working, modern workplace) and on digitalization (introduction of new technologies e.g. extended reality, digital strategy). Daniela has also gained experience in internal organizational and cultural development in the form of consulting for the Management Board, establishing participation formats and change communication. Rebecka studied organic farming at the University of Kassel/Witzenhausen and agribusiness at the University of Göttingen.

She grew up on a farm, which she has now taken over as a sideline. She implements many sustainable farming practices on her farm and can bring this experience to her work as a consultant. She previously worked in agricultural policy and international grain markets.

Rebecka forms the interface between sustainability issues and practical agriculture at Sustainable. She carries out projects on agricultural carbon footprinting, true cost accounting and impact assessments on climate risks. She also calculates carbon footprints at company and product level.

Sarah wrote her B.A. on CSR in the Bundesliga and did her Master in Sustainability and Innovation at the EADA in Barcelona with a focus on Circular Economy. As part of her master's thesis, Sarah worked with the Austrian construction company PORR to develop initial approaches to circular economy in the Romanian subsidiary.

Sarah gained practical experience in product marketing at the Volkswagen Group, where she was involved in marketing the ID.3 as part of the electric car strategy. She was also responsible for process optimization and sustainable pricing of mechanical engineering spare parts at the SaaS start-up Markt-Pilot. In Mexico, she spent a year working for the NGO Endeavor, where she was primarily responsible for supporting entrepreneurs in the fintech sector in implementing a sustainable strategy.

The focus at sustainable is on the development and implementation of Greenhouse gas balancing, climate strategies and climate risk analyses.

Studied Environmental Sciences (B.Sc.) at Leuphana University Lüneburg and Sustainable Business & Innovation (M.Sc.) at Utrecht University with a focus on identifying sustainability challenges, strategy development and sustainability innovation.

Julia gained practical experience as a research assistant at Utrecht University in a project on the circular economy in the healthcare sector and at Roland Berger in the field of energy transition and climate adaptation.

Her focus at Sustainable is on the development and implementation of climate strategies, the recording of corporate and product carbon footprints (CCF &PCF) as well as the identification of climate targets and their implementation.

Julia Mayer has been with Sustainable since 2024.

Two-subject Bachelor's degree in Political Science & Ethnology (B.A.) at Martin Luther University in Halle (Saale). Degree in International Security Management (M.A.) at the Berlin School of Economics and Law.

Véronique gained practical experience in the Circular Economy Initiative of the Federation of German Industries (BDI). Her focus here was on the European Packaging Ordinance (PPWR). Other topics included support for the CSRD, right-to-repair, end-of-life vehicle and eco-design regulations as part of the initiative. In German legislation, she took part in the Chancellery's "Alliance for Transformation" process and monitored the National Circular Economy Strategy (NKWS).

Her focus at Sustainable is on the development and implementation of sustainability and circular economy strategies.

Véronique Möller has been with Sustainable since 2024.

Studied B.A Corporate Management & Economics at Zeppelin University with a stay abroad at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid. Currently M.Sc. Management & Entrepreneurship with a focus on Sustainable Management & Change at Leuphana University.

Julika worked as a student trainee for 1.5 years in the sustainability department of the Otto Group on topics such as employee empowerment and sustainable customer consumption. She also gained experience in idea management and tariff evaluation at BMW and at the strategy start-up we.think.

Her focus at Sustainable is on sustainable change and the implementation of sustainability transformation projects.

Julika has been with Sustainable since 2023.

Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Management at OTH Regensburg, with stays abroad at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), an internship at Infopro Digital in Paris and at the German Institute Taipei. Subsequently, Master's degree in Sustainable Resource Management (M.Sc.) at the Technical University of Munich with a focus on renewable resources and sustainable landscape planning.

Furthermore, Antonia gained practical experience in the conception of nature-based solutions for the City of Munich at the Chair of Strategy and Management of Landscape Development at the Technical University of Munich.

The focus at Sustainable is on supporting the development and implementation of climate strategies. This includes the collection, balancing and monitoring of greenhouse gas emissions from Scope 1, 2 and 3 as well as advice on the development of climate targets and their implementation paths.

Antonia has been with Sustainable since 2023.

Studied M.A. Political Science at LMU Munich with a focus on International Relations and Sustainability Policy. Ludwig also completed his minor in law with a focus on labor law and international law as well as a semester abroad at Seoul National University in South Korea.

Ludwig gained practical work experience in the field of social sustainability at earthlink e.V. and municipal environmental policy at BUND-Naturschutz in Bayern e.V., as well as in change management and the creation of PCFs at Breitenstein Consulting.

The focus at Sustainable is on GHG balancing and the development and implementation of climate strategies.

Ludwig Prischenk has been with Sustainable since 2023.

Studied B.Sc. Oecotrophology at Fulda University of Applied Sciences, M.Sc. Applied Sustainability at Bochum University of Applied Sciences. Master's thesis on sustainable carbon footprints for daily nutrition.

Professional experience as a research assistant at the Wuppertal Institute in the fields of agriculture/nutrition and impact assessments and as a sustainability manager at a medium-sized company in the ultra-fresh convenience sector. There she was responsible for developing a sustainability strategy, calculating the corporate carbon footprint and preparing for the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

Pauline's focus at Sustainable is on the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), in particular materiality analysis and biodiversity.

Pauline Schekira has been with Sustainable since 2024.

Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (B.Sc.) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) with a semester abroad at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Master's degree in Politics & Technology (M.Sc.) at the Technische Universität München (TUM) with a semester abroad at Maastricht University. His studies focused on renewable energy systems and energy and climate policy.

B. Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management with a focus on Materials Resource Management and M.Sc. with a focus on Management and Sustainability at the University of Augsburg with a stay abroad at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University Bloomington. His theses dealt with the analysis of commodity indices and the influence of ESG scores on corporate resilience.

His professional career began with internships in IT auditing at a Big 4 company before he moved to project purchasing and project quality management at an automotive OEM. Parallel to his Master's degree, he gained experience as a working student in innovation management at a medium-sized company in the transmission and plant engineering sector. Most recently, he worked as a student trainee at Accenture, where he joined the engineering and management consulting team as a full-time employee after graduating. There, he advised transmission system operators and charging infrastructure operators on digital transformation projects, supported the restructuring of the documentation management department, optimized processes and evaluated the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Europe.

His focus at Sustainable is on the evaluation and implementation of software solutions to promote sustainable business processes and ESG data management.

Kilian Wörnle has been with Sustainable since 2025.

Bachelor's degree in Economics (B.Sc.) from the University of Innsbruck, graduated in 2012. Followed by a Master's degree in Strategic Management (M.Sc.) from the University of Innsbruck, graduated in 2014. 

Veronika has many years of experience in project management and consulting within the advertising industry. She has managed complex, cross-media projects and coordinated the collaboration of various teams as the central point of contact. As part of her further training as a New Work Facilitator, she expanded her knowledge in the areas of needs-oriented work, agile working, and the design of flexible and sustainable working environments that are geared toward cooperation, self-organization, and a sustainable corporate culture. 

In her current position at Sustainable, Veronika focuses on optimizing internal processes and procedures and providing ongoing support to the teams to ensure smooth project implementation.

Katharina is responsible for recruiting and has been with Sustainable since 2022.

Most recently, several years of professional experience within the photovoltaic industry at Memodo GmbH, working in B2B sales and in comprehensive consulting on photovoltaic systems, electricity storage, charging solutions and heating systems.

Sophia holds a B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Hagen and a B.A. in Business Administration from the TH in Nuremberg, where her focus was on marketing and sustainability. She then completed an M.A. in Marketing and Online Communication in Munich, specializing in business start-ups.

With many years of professional experience in marketing, especially in content and social media marketing with a focus on sustainability, Sophia has extensive expertise. She has also gained experience working with sustainable start-ups and has worked as a freelancer in the field of social media marketing.

After graduating from high school, Johannes worked at BMW for a total of 5 months to finance his travels, where he learned to persevere and work with colleagues under time pressure on the night shift in the paint shop.

On his trips to Thailand, Singapore and Japan, Johannes got to know people from all over the world, made contacts and was able to improve his language skills in English, Spanish and French.

As a dual student, Johannes gradually got to know all the departments at Sustainable and supported them in their work.

Johannes Wittmann has been with Sustainable since 2024.

In 2023, she graduated from the Martha-Fuchs-Schule (formerly the Berufliches Gymnasium für Gesundheit und Soziales der Beruflichen Schulen V) in Braunschweig.

After graduating from high school, Selina spent a few months in New Zealand and Australia as part of a work & travel program, during which time she was able to gain a lot of important experience and meet great people from all over the world. During this time, surrounded by almost untouched nature, her love of nature and her anticipation of studying sustainability and environmental management grew even stronger.

As a dual student, Selina is studying at Ssustainable and gradually gets to know all the departments and supports them in their work.

Selina Zedlitz has been with Sustainable since 2024.

Florian is a system administrator at Sustainable and co-founder of sustec UG. He has many years of experience in IT management and network administration.

Gereon has been working as a freelance consultant and moderator since 1994, primarily for medium-sized companies. Over the course of more than 25 years, he has repeatedly worked closely with colleagues and organizations, e.g. Hildegard Hamm-Brücher's Theodor Heuss Foundation (1997-1999), the St. Gallen Center for Futures Studies (1997-2007), adelphi consulting GmbH (2012-2019), the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft (since 2008), the Steinbeis Center for Municipal Consulting (since 2006) and with Sustainable since 2016.

Sustainable focuses on the design and moderation of innovation and change processes; scenario planning, technical support for climate risk assessments and the renewal of products, businesses and processes for climate adaptation.

Gereon has been on the Supervisory Board of Sustainable since 2022.

Falko Müller works as a communications and campaign expert for Sustainable. Previously, he was climate protection manager for the City of Munich for over five years, where he developed and managed a long-term climate protection campaign to involve and motivate the city's residents. Before his time in Munich, he worked for the non-profit GmbH co2online in Berlin for four years as a project developer and project manager in the field of communication and campaigns.

Falko Müller advises companies, local authorities and institutions on how to communicate their climate and sustainability commitment internally and externally and make sustainability and climate protection transparent, tangible and understandable.

Falko has been working for Sustainable since 2018.
